Every SunPress Solar CORE 500 is covered by a 12-month limited warranty against verified manufacturing defects, provided by Bandoh Prime Global Ltd. This page explains what's covered, what isn't, and exactly how to make a claim.
1. Warranty period
Coverage runs for 12 months from your original purchase date (the date on your order confirmation or receipt). The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. What is covered
- Verified manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship;
- Electrical faults (e.g. heating element or thermostat failure) arising from normal household use;
- Mechanical faults not caused by impact, misuse or modification.
3. What is not covered
- Accidental damage — drops, impacts, cracked housings;
- Misuse, or use contrary to the instructions in the user manual;
- Water or liquid damage;
- Repairs or openings by anyone other than SunPress Solar or an authorised service agent;
- Use on an incorrect voltage supply (outside the rated 220–240V);
- Commercial abuse beyond normal household or light professional pressing;
- Normal wear and tear, surface scratches or discolouration;
- Damaged power cords caused by pulling, twisting or improper handling;
- Failure to follow the care and usage instructions supplied with the product.
4. What you'll need to claim
- Proof of purchase — your order reference, receipt, or Paystack confirmation;
- Product model (CORE 500 / HD-4001) and the serial number on the product or packaging;
- A short description of the fault, with clear photos or a short video where possible.
5. How to make a claim — step by step
- Step 1: Contact us on WhatsApp or email info@sunpresssolar.com with the details above.
- Step 2: We respond within 1–2 business days with the next steps — often we can diagnose from your photos or video.
- Step 3: If needed, we arrange collection or ask you to send the product in for inspection.
- Step 4: Once the fault is verified as covered, we resolve the claim by repair, replacement, or another appropriate remedy — subject to inspection and eligibility — typically within 5–10 business days of receiving the product.
Please note that remedies are confirmed after inspection — we can't promise an automatic replacement before the product has been assessed.
6. If your claim isn't covered
If inspection shows the fault falls outside this warranty, we'll let you know and, where possible, offer a paid repair option before doing anything.
7. Returns are separate
